THE JOURNEY

ART EXHIBIT AND COMPETITION
June 14 - August 14

For our 40th anniversary and in response to the devastating impact of Covid-19 on the immigrant and arts communities International House presents, The Journey: Art Competition and Exhibit. We invited immigrant artists to submit an art piece that represents their journey to the United States, allowing the community to see their story and take a step in their shoes.

Ten artists have been chosen to participate in an  exhibit hosted by Charlotte Art League (CAL). See below for our virtual gallery. The public can vote by donating to their favorite pieces.

The winning art piece will showcased at International House as a mural.
